Registered Trades

Post by Admin on Thu Jun 26, 2008 2:46 pm

In order to prevent any foul play or cheating players must register every completed trade. Trades can involve both items and pokemon in any combination. This may seem like a pain in the ass, but it is necessary because some people might think that they can cheat in order obtain all 3 starters etc. Whenever a trade is completed ONE of the participating trainers must register the trade and a registered trade should include the trainers involved, the pokemon involved, and the items involved. During the tournament if a trainer has a pokemon from a different trainer that hasn't been registered that pokemon cannot be used. A registered trade should follow this format:
{Trainer 1: Pokemon 1 and Item 1 to Trainer 2: Pokemon 1 item 1}
If there are no items involved then don't mention any. Any posts in this subject not registering trades will be deleted. If you are look for a trade go to the Wanted trades subject and if you want to discuss any trades go to the Trade Discussion Topic.

Since we have these registered trades, is the rule going to be you can only trade with other people in the challenge? Or would it be kosher to register a trade between yourself and some other random gamer? Cause I think that would be bullshit

Excellent point. Trainers can only trade with other trainers that are registered for the competition. There are too many other ways to abuse the system if you don't make it like that.

There are no items attached. I agree with trading between only registered players. Also, we should consider only legit trades that would benifit both players. Circumstances would be different for trade evolutions. this is only a suggestion, a topic of discussion.

I agree with Josh in that it won't be a problem. Even if there is a trade that seems unfair to those not involved, the person who's getting the shaft might want that particular pokemon or item, for some crazy reason. So I think we should monitor the registered trades solely to determine if someone is cheating.
