Re: New Rules REALLY!
A pokechallenge in theory would be a journey worth embarking on. Worth wasting a few hundred game hours of my life and a few more in preparation to win. Rules and regulations to control this epic adventure would help make it a fair experience.
I personally was amped for this chance. This chance to blow away my senior year as if it matter a little as the first years of high school. I even put in the hours of preparation. I studied types, skills, looks, and all the little things that go into each of the pokemon to decide my final line-up. I found hidden secrets and relearned some old ones. Being one of the only ones to have played red/blue in recent years, I figured I had a distinct advantage. I was wrong.
Being the only participant to have Japanese heritage, I thought I would be the one to enact a sneak attack. But I got straight japed. A committee of pokechallenge elite said only a certain 45 “underused” pokemon would be used in this pokechallenge. wtf mate? My plans just got shattered. Hours of my short life wasted on preparation. Oh well, I am just a kicker.

Re: New Rules REALLY!
Why? The list is composed of “underused” pokemon. Meaning that they are weaker and have less advantage, making the competition more fair. “This is good”. The list promotes non-pokejuggernauts some would say. No Alakazam or Jolteon. No Chansey or Tauros. This is good right. Sure. Except my anti-Alakazam was on the underused list. The best offenses against Chansey or Tauros are on the underused(Hitmonlee/Machamp). Does this really make the competition fair? Arguments could and would ensue. The fact is, it cuts the field of available pokemon from an original 147 to 45, and on short notice I might add. Who made this list? Smogon.com? Sweet! Aeolus, Altmer, Aragornbird, Darkie, Fish, Jackal, Jibaku, Kumar, Mekkah, and some guy named Max made the so called “tiers”. Splitting the pokedex into Overused, Border Lined, Underused, and Not Fully Evolved. As competitors we can only use the Underused. No mention of not fully evolved pokemon, and only including one of the three starters. Really? This tier system has Tentacruel a level above Blastoise, and Slobro above Jolteon, Dragonite, and Articuno. Can this really be the list we trust as our god given guide? Max doesn’t have a clue about what’s going on at Ames High(or CyRide). But seriously let us make last minute changes. It won’t last more than two weeks anyways.

Re: New Rules REALLY!
An early rebuttal was shot down as expected, and a boycott will have no effect other than to give the rule changers a victory in the war against me. So a formal disagreement and suggestions for a solution are my decision.
First, I disgree!
Secondly, the I suggest we have a formal meeting discussing yes’s and no’s of pokemon allowed. This would settle any disputes on allowance into line-ups.
Finally, really? Can’t even buy your own game cartridge? Can’t order one off the internet? Lazy POS’s.

Jamison wtf are you talking about. First you complain about the shortness of your life and how you wasted it on researching Pokemon but did you fail to realize that when you were spending time researching this rebuttal that you knew no one would take seriously enough to change i mean come on you didn't even offer a compromise you just bitched alot. And even so do you really think you were the only one who spent time and energy on researching before the rule change. News Flash we all did. All of us. But we all agreed that it would be a worthwhile change to allow people like Bnads a better chance to compete with the rest of us. Otherwise it would just have been you, me, dan, and jess with complete domination. Also, you gave them your copies which weren't even yours in the first place. You took them from other people and when your friends asked if they could borrow them you gave it to them. All and All you are the lazy Piece of Shit who refuses to spend time to reexamine the pokemon that all of us agreed on. So why dont you stop bitching and have a little fun your senior year instead trying to be a dick to everyone. Does this challenge even matter that much. Its all fun and games.
